Week of August 15, 2016 Oracle Card Reading

This week’s reading has an overarching theme of trusting your higher power. I pulled a card for the beginning, middle, and end of the week to see what message Goddess has for us to bear in mind as we go about our lives. I’m using The Wisdom of Avalon oracle cards by Colette Baron-Reid.

The card for the beginning of the week is the Raven. The Raven is all about synchronicity and tells us to pay attention to the signs. Synchronicity is like 1,000 unseen helping hands moving us along our path. Goddess is working all things together for our good whether we can see her hand in it or not. This is a time when all things are possible. Listen to your inner wisdom and know that things will work out for the best.

The card for the middle of the week is Trust. It’s a pretty straight-forward card, indicating that the way to move forward in life and in your own personal growth and journey of authenticity and healing is to trust Goddess. Even if you are experiencing or have experienced betrayal from others, Goddess is steadfast in her loyalty. You’re not in control here. Release your attachments to outcomes or expectations and trust that what is best for you will happen. Another message here is to make sure the people you are giving your trust to are worthy of that trust. If you aren’t sure, observe them. People tell you who they are by their actions.

And the last card, the card for the weekend, is all about honoring your truth. Your light comes from speaking your truth, and even if the situation seems sticky it’s still best to be honest because it honors you to do so. Along with the message of speaking your truth is the message that you need to require the truth from others. You know on an intuitive level when someone is lying to you. Check your own motives this weekend as well to make sure that you are being honest with yourself about why you want what you want and do what you do.
